The event, which had 16 245 people walking through the gates over the three days, is the sister event of Nampo Harvest Day which is held annually near Bothaville in the Free State.
The JDI stall sported new John Deere toys which arrived straight from the US a few days before the expo began, as well as John Deere clothing. The JDI-team was also present to give visitors more information on John Deere and JCB equipment, which was on display for clients who were interested in buying them.
JDI’s MD, Emilius Tomlinson, said the event exceeded his expectations. “We had a record turnover in terms of John Deere toys and clothing, and we also experienced an unprecedented amount of leads and interest in our John Deere and JCB machines. I would like to commend the organisers for an awesome event and to assure Nampo Cape that JDI will be back next year, bigger and better!”
JDI was also a proud sponsor for the Nation in Conversation programme, which was broadcasted live from Nampo Cape. Visit www.NationinConversation.co.za to watch the full discussions.
